October will be packed with over 135 big and small tournaments. Below is a highlight of the latest events and their starting dates.

League of Legends Worlds – October 2

With over 135 tournaments taking place in October 2019 across the world, you will want to focus your efforts on the top events this month. On October 2, the League of Legends World Championship play-in stage began.

The event features both big and small battle tags names, with viewership numbers starting strongly for the game. After four days of play, the Knockout Stage bracket has been set. Both the Mid-Season Invitational and LEC Summer Split posted some strong numbers, with 363 million hours clocked during the Invitational.

Rocket League Championship Series – October 4

Rocket League Championship Series kicked off with its next competitive leg on October 4. While Rocket League reunites quite a bit of fans, the RLCS have proven a tough sell. Particularly, last season marked one of the lowest viewership for the series.

Dota 2 DreamLeague Season 12 – October 18 – 20

Fans of Dota 2 will have a reason to rejoice as the DreamLeague is hosting a competitive event at Rotterdam Ahoy in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. Classified as a Major, the event comes with a $250,000 prize pool and a chance to earn some Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) points.

Hearthstone Master Tour Bucharest – October 18

Next on the menu is another event by Blizzard, with Hearthstone’s Master Tour Bucharest arriving on October 18 – 20 and offering $500,000 in prize money.

Starcraft 2 – October 24

Starcraft 2 is going to be one of the hottest esports tournaments in October with the World Championship Series (WCS) kicking off on October 24 and running through November 1.

Amid concerns about Starcraft 2 viewership, the community is looking forward the WCS as a source of reinvigoration for the game.

ESL One Hamburg – October 25

Yet another Major event in the Dota 2 Pro Circuit. Held at the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, this offline tournament will be another opportunity for esports fans to enjoy themselves in full. The event is running from October 25 through October 27.

SWC2019 World Finals – October 26

October will be an important month for mobile esports as well as the Summoners War World Finals will be held on October 26 at Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, France. The event will feature a $210,000 prize pool.
